Update to the Document "Selecting a Package for Graphics Presentation"
The Facilities Matrix of the above document (second edition October 1994)
has been updated to note the details of more recent versions of the following
packages:
- Microsoft Office Graphics Modules
- Corel Chart
- Corel Draw
- Micrografx Designer
- Micrografx Draw
- Fig-P
- Harvard Graphics
- Origin
- PV Wave
- UNIRAS - UniEdit, UniGraph, UniMap, Gsharp
- IDL
- Stanford Graphics
The changes to the document affect Chapter 7 (Explanatory Notes on Facilities
Matrix) and Appendix 2 (The Facilities Matrix). Copies of the new versions
of these may be obtained in postscript form via anonymous ftp from unix.hensa.ac.uk.
The files are in ZIP format and are located in the directory /pub/misc/agocg/documentation/micros
and can be accessed via http://www.hensa.ac.uk/pub/misc/agocg/documentation/micros
using a WEB browser.
The work to produce these revisions, which was funded by AGOCG, was carried
