VRML and Java3D Information Centre

A Web resource, funded by AGOCG, has been set up at the University of Leeds, to provide information and support on 3D Internet graphics, particularly VRML and Java3D. The centre is at:

If you are interested in this area, please give the site a visit. You will find:

• latest news edited from newsgroups and mailing lists, to give you up-to-date information on VRML browsers, VRML tools, and so on
• conference reports, including the recent VRML98 conference in California
• links to important 'first port-of-call' sites for VRML and Java3D.

The site is intended to be interactive. If you have a news item that you want to pass on, tell us and we'll post it. We also aim to build a network of UK VRML and Java3D contacts: enter your name and give us a URL to your research. In this way we hope to build a community of those interested in 3D graphics for the Internet.
