Exporting Data

You can export data from a Deltagraph Data page. When you use the Export command in the File menu, Deltagraph exports the entire contents of the active Data page, regardless of what is selected.

The Export Data Process

To export data proceed as follows:-

1. Open the Data page containing the data you wish to export.
2. Select Export from the File menu and select "Tab-Delimited Text" from the hierarchical menu. A variation of the standard "Save As" dialog appears so you can name and save the file you are exporting. Deltagraph displays a default name for the document under "Export document as" in the dialog; it consists of the active data page name, a period, and the word "text".
3. Choose the destination and, if you wish, type in a new file name in front of the extension.
4. Click on Save.

The data is saved to the specified disk and folder, ready for import by any application that reads tab-delimited text files.
