Exporting Data

You can export data from a Deltagraph Data page. When you use the Export command in the File menu, Deltagraph exports the entire contents of the active Data page, regardless of what is selected.

Export Data File Formats Supported

Deltagraph supports the following export data file formats:-

• Microsoft Excel 4.0 (.XLS)
• Lotus 1-2-3 versions 1.X, 2.1, 3.1, 4 & 5 (.WKS, .WK1, .WK3, .WK4)
• Quattro (.WKQ)
• SYLK - Symbolic Link file format (.SLK)
• Symphony version 1.0 (.WRK) and version 1.1 - 2.2 (.WR1)
• Tab Delimited Text (.TXT)

The Export Data Process

To export data proceed as follows:-

1. Open the Data page containing the data you wish to export.
2. Select Export from the File menu and the Export Data dialog box appears:-

Now continue as follows:-

1. Select (in the usual Windows 95 way) the folder that you wish to contain the exported data, type in the required file-name in the File name box, and choose the required export data type (as defined by the drop-down list in the Save as type box).
2. Click on the Save button.

The data is saved to the specified folder/file-name with the appropriate file extension.
