This is the report of a workshop on the topic The Potential of Virtual Reality for UK Higher Education. The workshop was held at Coseners House, Abingdon, UK in December 1995.
The report is structured as follows:
- executive summary and recommendations
- extracts from the papers written prior to the workshop by participants
- summary of the work of the 4 groups which includes the introduction from the group chair, the summary of discussions and the recommendations of the group. The final recommendations consolidate the group recommendations.
The recommendations will be discussed by the Advisory Group On Computer Graphics and appropriate actions taken to implement these where possible.
