A Case Study: Teaching on the WWW--Isaac Rosenberg's 'Break of Day in the Trenches'

Introduction

This report covers the development of an on-line tutorial (mounted on the World-Wide Web) aimed at teaching First World War poetry, and in particular the British poet Isaac Rosenberg and his poem `Break of Day in the Trenches'. The report covers the preliminary stages of the package as a series of HyperCard stacks; the migration to the World-Wide Web; design and copyright issues; and feedback on the tutorial.
