RALCGM

RAL-CGM is a program to interpret Computer Graphics Metafiles. It can:

• Translate them to a different encoding (Binary, Character or Clear Text
• Display CGM's on screen using X-Windows, Silicon Graphics GL, VGA screen on PCs or Tektronix 4200 series graphics terminals)
• Send CGM's to a printer or plotter (PostScript or HPGL)

It runs on Unix machines (X11 needed for display) and PCs, plus OpenVMS and VM

RALCGM was written by staff at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory (RAL) in the UK, hence the name of the program.
