Exporting Charts
Deltagraph charts/graphs can be exported to other applications
by using the Export command in the File menu.
Export File Formats Supported
Deltagraph supports the following export file formats:-
- Adobe Illustrator 3.2
- EPSF - Encapsulated Postscript File
- Macintosh PICT
- Scrapbook (only slides from the Slide Sorter can be
exported to the Scrapbook)
The Export Process
To export a graph/chart proceed as follows:-
- Ensure that the Chart page containing the objects you
wish to export is active and that the objects are
selected. (Note: You can export the entire
contents of a Chart page or simply individual objects
within that page. Objects in a Chart page must be selected
before exporting; if you are exporting from the
Sorter view, make sure the page or thumbnail is
selected).
- Choose Export from the File menu, and then
select a format from the hierarchical menu.A variation of
the standard "Save As" dialog appears so you
can name and save the file you are exporting. Deltagraph
displays a default name for the document under
"Export document as" in the dialog; it consists
of the active chart page name, a period, and the
abbreviation of the format you choose ("ill",
"eps", or "pict").
- Enter a name, choose your destination, than click Save
to create a file you can use in another application.
