All participants in the workshop show a graphic they have created (either as hard copy or on their own laptop) in a poster style of presentation, concentrating on:

  • The background to the problem.
  • The solution graphic.
  • The tools used.
These displays will form part of a web document reporting the workshop proceedings.

11.00 - 12.30 PLENARY DISCUSSION: PROBLEMS IN VISUALISATION
Chair: Dave Unwin.
Arising from the experiences reported in the first session, this session will attempt to list a series of visualisation problems.

12.30 - 14.00 Lunch

2.00 - 3.30 GROUP SESSION. Chair: Anne Mumford, JISC ASSIST
Small break out groups will work together to suggest solutions to the specified problems. This may, or may not, involve direct practical work.
