Desktop Video AGOCG Report

The Harnessing of New Media

Built in video capabilities will be harnessed in a variety of ways. One of the most prominent of these will be the delivery of prepared content in either analogue or digital form, e.g. analogue video signals (NTSC or PAL) directly from cable, a VCR or a laser video disk and displayed in a window. Hence, the user could watch the news or a film while working an a spreadsheet, or a company with networked, video equipped computers could deliver informational videos to all of their employees.
